First, please make sure your dog is fed early enough in the morning so that
it has been able to digest most of it's morning meal and so that it has been
able to eliminate. If you are not able to feed your puppy, who still requires 3
feedings per day, with enough time to
allow it to go to the bathroom, please wait and we will feed your pup a small
morning meal once we reach a destination. Older dogs should just skip that
morning meal if you did not allow enough time as sometimes it is almost best for
your dogs comfort if you have not had time to feed
him or her. Travel and playtime with other dogs on a full stomach and bowels,
as you can imagine, can be very uncomfortable so please set aside plenty of
time.
Also, make sure your dog has it's collar and tags available and we are ready
to go. When we roll up you can be sure your dog will be ready to go on that
day's fun and adventure!

We have had a facility and we most likely will one day again. But at this
time we really enjoy the freedom that mobile daycare provide. It allows us to
explore, with your dogs, the fun and beauty that San Diego has to offer. We
never get bored and neither do our happy campers. Our unique services provides
us the ability to venture to many locations around the County while providing
your dogs with exceptional social and behavioral learning opportunities that no
other doggie daycare provider offers.
We are affiliated with San Diego's #1 Dog Trainer
John's Natural Dog Training Company.
Jenny and all of her trainers have worked with, currently work for or have trained
with John in some capacity and as such are well versed in dog behavior and
obedience training. In turn Camp4Dogs is the only doggie daycare provider John
currently refers as he knows we know dogs!
Dogs leave their littermates socialized. However, sometimes puppies do not
receive the full benefit of this socialization as they may be rejected by the
mother or leave the litter too soon. Health issues can also cause problems.
Early training can help as can daycare. But, training with the right trainer and
placement with the correct daycare is essential. We always suggest, if you have
any concerns, seeking the advice or consultation of a respected
trainer/behaviorist.
Definitely after fear impact stage and after all vaccinations have been
administered. Also, if your puppy has gone through some beginning obedience training
this too is helpful. Please call us for more information -
